All IAS appraisal values remain a permanent record in our database so that when the property is re-sold we can evaluate the historical values given. By doing this, IAS can ensure that its appraisers are staying abreast of market trends. Just as value providers need to be aware of declining markets, IAS wants to make sure they also recognize when a market is improving so that the highest possible value is gained. In addition, every valuation performed by an appraiser is reviewed to ensure that valuation standards have been met.
